SUMMARY *** If you accidentally press "Z", while trying to press "X" (they're next to each other) to cut a clip, whatever you've done gets "undone". Very, very annoying. As a workaround, I changed "X" to "C", cause shorcut "Z" does NOT exist! It's NOT bound to any action! So it CAN'T be removed! There's only the "CTRL+Z" which clearly undo stuff. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Put a clip on timeline. 2. Cut a segment (or a few ones). 3. Press "Z" OBSERVED RESULT Pressing "Z" undo work already done (it's not even a shorcut). EXPECTED RESULT Pressing "Z" should NOT undo work already done because it's not a shorcut. Ok. As it turns out, pressing "Z" is bound to "remove zone from timeline". I didn't see before while trying to disable, it's not listed here https://docs.kdenlive.org/en/user_interface/shortcuts.html. I just disabled it. This is "fixed"
