STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set up a virtual machine (in Virt-Manager, VirtualBox, etc.) with KDE neon as the bootable ISO. 2. Start the virtual machine. 3. Press Enter at the GRUB screen to boot KDE neon live environment. 4. Wait for the KDE neon live environment to boot to the Plasma desktop. OBSERVED RESULT The mouse cursor is not visible on the screen. Moving the mouse still works, and will highlight icons, buttons, etc.; however, it's very difficult to see exactly what is being moused over. EXPECTED RESULT Mouse cursor should be visible on screen. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon user 20240304-2101
Maybe related to Bug 482245 or Bug 481937
Can confirm, not sure what would cause it though. We have divergent behavior vs. the session in regard to automatic resolution updates too, so there must be some difference
Is this still reproducible?
I can't reproduce it in an up to date Fedora 40 VM FWIW, so I think this is fixed
