Description Elias Probst 2024-03-04 22:33:26 UTC
SUMMARY
I have a Lenovo T460s which has 2 internal batteries, which both show up as expected in the applet.
As soon as the 1st battery has reached it's minimum discharge level (here: 5%), the applet disappears from the default systray items and needs to be configured to be shown always to re-appear.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Fully charge a device with 2 batteries.
2. Run it without a power supply until the 1st battery is discharged
3. Check the status of the powerdevil applet in the systray throughout this process

OBSERVED RESULT
- As long as the 1st battery is still discharging, the applet is still shown in the systray
- Once the 2nd battery starts discharging, the applet's entry is being moved into the "extended" systray

EXPECTED RESULT
Always show the applet as long as one of both batteries is discharging.
