Screenshot of `marble-qt` showing a second, dysfunctional window.

SUMMARY

When I open `marble`/ `marble-qt`, version 23.08.5, (both show that behaviour), in roughly half of the cases it shows a second, small window without any content that cannot be closed individually (only when closing marble itself). That small window appears before the main application's window.

The small window's content does not update, and it shows "remnants" of whichever window was in front of it before.

In the other cases there is only the main window.

Screenshot attached.

SYSTEM INFORMATION

Linux: 6.7.4 (vanilla kernel)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.12
marble version: 23.08.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I do not run KDE, but xfwm4 as window manager (without a desktop manager). I am on Artix GNU/Linux (rolling release; Arch Linux with OpenRC instead of systemd).
