SUMMARY
Hey, been testing plasma 6 in arch's testing repos. I've had a few plasmashell crashes related to when I turn my monitors on and off. I'll report that bug later. However anytime I have to restart plasmashell. Icons located on my second monitor move themselves to my first monitor. Even if desktop icons are set to locked.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have multiple monitors.
2. Create a file on the second monitor.
3. Run "plasmashell --replace"

OBSERVED RESULT
Desktop icons are now on the First Monitor instead of the second.

EXPECTED RESULT
Desktop icons should be restored to the second monitor.

It's likely this got fixed with a bugfix in 6.0.1. Can you upgrade to that once it's released in a day or two and see?

I'll test it out as soon as it gets released to the testing repos and report back

You were right, 6.0.1 fixed this issue. Icons no longer move after restarting the shell.

Excellent, I thought it would!
