SUMMARY Using Firefox and visiting https://get.webgl.org/ the following message is displayed: Hmm. While your browser seems to support WebGL, it is disabled or unavailable. If possible, please ensure that you are running the latest drivers for your video card. WebGL is enabled in Firefox. In order to test if this is a Firefox problem I visited the same website with konqueror and got the same message. I'm not sure where this problem might be, it seems to have happened after I upgraded to KDE 6 but I can't be sure about that, also it might be an NVidia driver problem because I'm using Wayland. I'm using the latest closed source driver: $ dkms status nvidia/550.54.14, 6.5.0-21-generic, x86_64: installed openrazer-driver/3.7.0, 6.5.0-21-generic, x86_64: installed SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 6.0 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Kernel Version: 6.5.0-21-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti/PCIe/SSE2
Update, this might be relevant. I downloaded the flatpak version of Firefox and that run WebGL ok.
Thank you for your bug report! However this bug report was created/provided previous to 01/06/2024 and also has not received any updates since before 01/01/2025. Unfortunately KDE neon no longer provides updates for anything older than noble 24.04 based edition's. Please upgrade to KDE neon noble and if you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report. Thanks for understanding!
