Created attachment 166297 [details] screenshot of krunner insatnce not showing intended ation SUMMARY Up to plasma version 5.25 I was able to shutdown - reboot my computer....or log out from my session with KRunner. I would just type the first couple of letters of the intended action which would be highlighted in Krunner. FYI my system is setup with french locals, so the intended action would be éteindre/redémarrer/déconnexion. Since then (running v 6.0 now) those power/session options disappeared. The Krunner settings show that this option is activated though. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run Krunner 2. Type the first couple of letters of the intended action (shutdown/reboot/log out) 3. Intended action (shutdown/reboot/log out etc...) not highlighted nor showing in krunner OBSERVED RESULT - Intended action (shutdown/reboot/log out etc...) not highlighted nor showing in krunner EXPECTED RESULT - Intended action (shutdown/reboot/log out etc...) highlighted in krunner - manage session in krunner SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: KdeNeon - Kernel 6.5.0-21-generic (64-bit) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
can't reproduce when I type "shutdown" in English in krunner, plasma dev build, arch linux. Perhaps this is a localization issue?
this now works in user edition. i believe it was caused by a packaging mistake in the plasma6 megarelease which has now been fixed.
