Description amar1616 2024-03-02 04:48:36 UTC
When i am not using the kde connect app the notification that (great for quickly accessing some important features) shows its not connected to any device which is very annoying

I have to go in app settings and force stop the kde connect app to not get the importance

I want a feature that can either temporarily turn off that notification if not connected for more than 5 min

Or a button that will turn of that notification manually anytime i want 🙂 without completely shutting off the app

Telegram FOSS and Syncthing-Fork both idle in the background without a persistent notification. One watches for messages, the other watches for network connection (I have it set t only run on wifi and only on my own). Neither clutters my notification drawer. I'd really like for KDE Connect to behave the same, at the very least when it's not connected to any devices or even WiFi networks.
