Description Onur Ankut 2024-03-01 16:41:39 UTC
SUMMARY
Window widths and heights are not limited and widths of the tab contents are full (or match parent maybe?). They should have fixed width and height for usability.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
OS: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

If we did this, everyone would complain, because fixed-size windows are terribly for usability. If you *do* have large content, it's nicer to enlarge the window than it is to scroll--especially horizontally. So I don't think we'll be changing this, sorry!

You're actually right about the window itself but full-width tab contents make usability just worse. There are better practises in Plasma itself. You should check the attachments I will now add.
