OBSERVED RESULT The dock now floats and the wallpaper is reset to the one from step 2, despite the updated wallpaper appearing in step 5 EXPECTED RESULT Either the wallpaper changes after the first boot, or it doesn't change at all. Why does it change on the second? SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 6.0 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Kernel Version: 6.5.0-21-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 20 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-13600K Memory: 31.1 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 Manufacturer: ASRock Product Name: Z690M-ITX/ax The version dropdown on this site has no plasma 6 option btw so I'm filing under 5.27
Thanks for the bug report! Sorry we were not able to get to it yet. Unfortunately I imagine the environment for reproducing it has probably been lost. Any chance you can make this happen again in Plasma 6.3 without going through a full 5.27 -> 6 upgrade? Maybe just by changing a setting and doing a hard reboot?
