Version: 0.7.1 (using KDE 3.0.3) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.2.19 I'd like to suggest some additional filter actions for knode's very nice filtering system: - mark message as read - mark thread as read - delete message - delete thread The point of these would be to get unwanted postings out of sight or get rid of them altogether. At the moment you can only assign a low/negative score to them and set the display filters in a way that will not display postings with a low/negative score, but they will still be present in the unread message count of the group list. - adjust _thread_ score Right now, you can adjust the score for an individual posting only. The problem is, that, if you sort messages by score, only the first message in a thread will matter as far as sorting is concerned. Adjusting the score for the whole thread would allow assigning a higher priority to an entire thread as soon as something I'm interested in pops up in the discussion. For example: raise score if a certain individual enters a thread which wouldn't receive a high score based on its subject alone.
The scoring of threads part is somewhat related to #51764.
Please add also a watch-option.
In KNode 0.10.9 (KDE 3.5.10) these are available in RMB menu: - mark message as read - mark thread as read - delete message - delete thread This I can't find: - adjust _thread_ score However, one can lower the score of authors and add a filter rule for scores below a certain threshold. Thread score is something that can be achieved once the Proposal in Bug 51764 is implemented.
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
