Description postix 2024-02-29 13:57:41 UTC

After boot, the option "presentation mode" is always deactivated in the "Display Configuration" applet.
After enabling it, I can no longer disable it by clicking onto the checkbox. There's no error logged in journalctl.

I cannot reproduce on neon unstable. To clarify are you talking about this control? (see attached image)

Yes. I also can't reproduce on neon unstable, but can on Arch Linux running Plasma 6.

I'm not able to reproduce this anymore. When I turn on Presentation Mode, it turns off just fine.
Comment 6 Patrick Silva 2024-03-15 15:50:11 UTC
The bug persists on my system.

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Comment 7 Nate Graham 2024-03-15 15:51:03 UTC
Can you write down exact steps for it?
Comment 8 Patrick Silva 2024-03-15 15:55:23 UTC
1. click on the arrow used to show hidden systray icons
2. click on "Display configuration" applet
3. enable "Enable presentation mode" feature
4. try to disable "Enable presentation mode" feature

Result: it's impossible to disable "Enable presentation mode" feature
Comment 9 postix 2024-03-16 20:25:37 UTC
I can also still reproduce it with 6.0.2 on Tumbleweed (bare metal).
What I see is, when opening the applet:
```
plasmashell[2670]: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.private.systemtray/contents/ui/items/PlasmoidItem.qml:60: TypeError: Property 'pressed' of object QQuickMouseArea_QML_198(0x55594b35c190) is not a function
```

Maybe related?

That works for me with current git master.

This is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=477355, which is fixed in master but not 6.0
