Created attachment 166155 [details] The same feature in firefox When clicking or pressing keybind to edit pathbar, select the whole location path like in Firefox. This allows the user to type in a new path quickly without having to backspace all the current path. By default, it doesn't it puts the cursor on the right of the path, which is better for most users whole usually want to go to another location when editing the path, not go in a directory in the current location which they can already easily go to with the mouse. Dolphin Version: 24.04.70
I would say this is a design choice -- for file managers appending at the end of the current path is fairly common, which is quite different from browsers.
