The Digikam package that is installed from the jammy repos seems to be packaged as some sort of container. As such, it cannot access SMB shares, making it therefore unusable in combination with a NAS. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install digikam from jammy repo 2. Add a collection on an SMB share 3. Try to scan the collection OBSERVED RESULT Collection remains empty EXPECTED RESULT All folders in the collection are scanned for images and represented as albums SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.114.0 Qt Version: 5.15.12 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION See closed bug on digikam: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=481830
Thank you for your bug report! However this bug report was created/provided previous to 01/06/2024 and also has not received any updates since before 01/01/2025.
