Description cpchan777 2024-02-27 17:21:04 UTC
SUMMARY

Tilde expansion does not work in the command line pane.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Using "cd" in the command line window does not not switch to my home directory.
2. but, "cd ~" does.
3. However, "cd ~/<some directory>" does not work. The completion window is shown and items can be selected, but the directory is not changed. The current path seem to be prepended before the tilde according to error.
4. This all work fine in the embedded Konsole window.

OBSERVED RESULT

Does not switch directory.

EXPECTED RESULT

Switch to the directory in the "cd ~/<some directory>" command.
