Description tony.barrera 2024-02-26 21:13:30 UTC
I get this message:

"The file or folder Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. does not exist."

I also try to select a file path within another application and it freezes up as well. Such as Mega Sync when I try to select the local folder path or when I try to download anything within Google Chrome for instance. It seems to happen 100% after I select the folder/file within Dolphin (or whatever file explorer view), then it locks up when I hit okay.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I'm afraid Dolphin 23.04.2 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE.

Dolphin is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. Please update to Dolphin 23.08.5 as soon as your distro offers it to you. If you need support for Dolphin 23.04.2, please contact your distro, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older non-LTS releases.

If this issue is still reproducible in either Dolphin 23.08.5 (the current version) or the upcoming Dolphin 24.02, feel free to re-open this bug report.

Thanks for understanding!
