STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. pair a laptop and an android phone 2. reboot the laptop 3. make sure the android phone is unlocked and its bluetooth feature is activated 4. try to connect the laptop to the previously paired android phone via Bluetooth applet OBSERVED RESULT apparently the laptop was connected (the label of the button of the applet changes to "Disconnect" from "Connect" and we do not see any error message), but the android phone does not detect any connection between the devices EXPECTED RESULT the devices should connect, and we should receive some feedback in case of connection failure SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Graphics Platform: Wayland
Can you reproduce it in Plasma 6.3.4 or later?
I'm unable to test; my laptop broke a few months ago. Feel free to close if you are unable to reproduce too.
Oh no, that's no good! I can't reproduce it, yeah.
Created attachment 183342 [details] screenshot Thanks to David Edmundson and Nate, now I'm able to test again. \o/ The bug persists on neon unstable. Tested 2 smartphones with different versions of Android. Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Graphics Platform: Wayland
Created attachment 183382 [details] screenshot2 This screenshot shows the originally reported bug. The button of the applet is labeled "Disconnect" despite the device was not connected. The main problem is a connection failure.
