SUMMARY I am on Debian Trixie/Testing yet the About This System tab in system settings reports Debian 12. See the attached image showing side by side with neofetch, which correctly reports trixie/sid STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Debian Testing with Plasma 2. System Settings > About this System OBSERVED RESULT Reporting OS as Debian 12 EXPECTED RESULT Reporting OS as Debian Trixie SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux Trixie KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 Kernel Version: 6.6.15-amd64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz Memory: 15.4 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 620 Manufacturer: Dell Inc. Thanks. looks like the issue is that we're using NAME and not PRETTY_NAME.
