Test scan, first complete scan area, second DIN A4

Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for this beautiful software. Until now I have been using Xsane because programmes like Skanlite lack important features like multi-page scanning.
When scanning, however, I noticed that a margin is cut off within the selected scan area.
With A4, for example, part of the sheet is missing, even though the whole sheet is in the frame in the preview. This is particularly noticeable at the top and left edge, as the frame cannot be enlarged there. I have attached a scan of the complete area and with the selection for DIN A4 for comparison.

Setup Information:
I use Skanpage as Flatpak from Flathub and my scanner is Hp Envy Photo 7800
Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.5
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.9
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Kernel Version: 5.14.21-150500.55.49-default (64-bit)

I don't know if I should just attach this here, if this is the wrong place please correct it and let me know where to post it instead.
As I often work with different scan area sizes, I would like to ask if it is possible to add a function that allows you to save user-defined scan areas and, ideally, edit the existing ones if they don't quite suit you.

Hi, it has turned out that it is probably not a programme-specific error of Skanpage, but a driver or firmware problem of the printer, as it occurs independently of the scan programme even under Windows.
I'm sorry for reporting this here, I would suggest to edit this report and change it to just a feature request for the saving of custom scan areas and editing of predefined ones.

Glad that Skanpage is useful for you!
No need for apologies. You could try to report it at SANE https://gitlab.com/sane-project/backends.
But since it also happens on Windows, they may also not be able to fix it.

I agree that saving custom scan areas would be a useful addition.
