Description Alexander Wilms 2024-02-15 16:46:37 UTC
SUMMARY
I can no longer open any font files, neither .otf nor .ttf

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try to open any font either by double-clicking on it, passing it as an argument to the command or via File > Open in Font Viewer.

OBSERVED RESULT
The error message "Could not read font."

EXPECTED RESULT
It opens the font file.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240213
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.12
Kernel Version: 6.7.4-8-default (64-bit)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It used to work fine in the past, but I don't know when it broke.
Also, when I start it via Konsole, it behaves as if I had run 'kfontview &' and detaches.
I tried Inter, Fira Code, Garamond EB and Gitlab Mono.
