SUMMARY The smooth scroll leap always when descending out of a folder is rather disorienting and nauseating. That smooth scrolling can't be disabled in itself is a little tedious, but that it scrolls around without user input when just trying to navigate the folders makes it hard to use the file manager at all. A workaround would be useful, if there was any. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enter any folder in symbol view that is relatively large, then any subfolder that isn't at the top (so that you need to scroll down to get the folder icon onto your screen) 2. Descend out of folder again via breadcrumbs OBSERVED RESULT Frantic not user prompted scroll down from some wrong position way above the subfolder you just descended from, to bring back the subfolder icon into view. EXPECTED RESULT No scrolling that isn't user-prompted. Also, there should be a setting to disable smooth scroll to make everything instant anyway. Seconding this issue. I know people for whom this kind of unprompted animation would be literally disabling - https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/animation-from-interactions.html is a discussion of the matter with regard to web interfaces.
