Created attachment 165722 [details] THE_OBSERVED_BEHAVIOUR SUMMARY System tray applets like volume and notifications open in a window that is too small, this happens with this panel layout and not the default KDE panel layout. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have a panel at the top of the screen, add system tray applet. 2. Enable & disable edit mode. 3. Observe that when opening any system tray icon the window is too small (can be resized but the default should be big enough). This does not occur with the clock or application menu. OBSERVED RESULT System tray applets open in a window that is too small. EXPECTED RESULT System tray applets open in a window that is big enough by default. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (Plasma 5.93.0 / 6.0 RC2) KDE Plasma Version: 5.93.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.249.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Only happens with this panel layout, not with the default KDE panel layout.
Also occurs with kfrb, when clicking on its system tray icon, its window appears in a size that is way too small.
(In reply to Yusef Aslam from comment #1) > Also occurs with kfrb, when clicking on its system tray icon, its window > appears in a size that is way too small. Nevermind, the window that kfrb spawns from the system tray icon is the correct size.
This is Qt 6.7 bug that's already been fixed upstream.
