NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
It just randomly happens. Maybe I have too many browser windows opened?

OBSERVED RESULT
The screen goes black with a little cursor flashing all of a sudden and then the desktop "resets" and goes back to normal.

EXPECTED RESULT
It's happening every single day now. I am tired of it. It shouldn't crash!

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Oracle Linux 9.3
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.108.0
Qt Version: 5.15.9

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am using Oracle Linux. I obviously have to contact them when I saw the web link. I am sorry if I have not done the backtrace properly. I just thought the Logs were enough. I am hard pressed for time! Oracle also had their own thing about crash reporting that contradicts KDE. I hope I have provided enough information!

I'm afraid Plasma 5.27.6 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE.

Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. Please update to Plasma 5.27.10 as soon as your distro offers it to you. If you need support for Plasma 5.27.6, please contact your distro, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older non-LTS releases.

If this issue is still reproducible in either Plasma 5.27.10 (the latest release) or Plasma 6.0 (the upcoming version), feel free to re-open this bug report.

Thanks for understanding!
