Description Adi Efendic 2024-02-08 11:05:00 UTC
SUMMARY
Whenever I try to screenshare my main monitor (1440p, 155Hz) with Discord through XWaylandVideoBridge , the stream is very laggy, to the point of single-digit framerates. I've tried both desktop and web versions of Discord, it only happens when I choose to stream the entire screen instead of a single application. If I stream my second 1080p monitor, the stream is fine.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start a screenshare of the entire screen on a 1440p monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
Very laggy stream which stays frozen for seconds at a time

EXPECTED RESULT
A smooth screenshare
