Even though my change of hostname via hostnamectl was successful, it was not reflected in the Connect app. I saw a similar issue raised in #480604, but this one is unique as the pre-release version of KDE 6 was used on my laptop. I also checked whether kirigami-addons was installed on my device, which the package manager zypper confirmed, albeit under the name of 'kirigami-addons6'. I attached the log where I check for its existence in this issue as well.

(In reply to Doug from comment #3) > Cannot reproduce. > > Operating System: KDE neon Testing Edition > KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.0 > KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 > Qt Version: 6.6.1 > Kernel Version: 6.5.0-15-generic (64-bit) > Graphics Platform: Wayland could it be because of newer Plasma version or X11 breaking stuff behind the scenes?
I cannot reproduce this using current Tuxedo OS (X11 or Wayland) nor with current Fedora. Can you confirm whether this is still an issue for you, and if it is, whether there are any relevant error messages if you start kdeconnect from a terminal?
