Look at the taskbar OBSERVED RESULT an extra widget icon appears without me knowingly doing anything to add it EXPECTED RESULT no widget should be added See here for a screenshot: https://forum.endeavouros.com/t/testing-plasma-6-beta-on-endeavour-os-is-this-approach-any-good/47539/672?u=semlraug SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 5.93.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.249.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Kernel Version: 6.7.3-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz Memory: 3.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 620 Manufacturer: Acer Product Name: Aspire A315-53 System Version: V2.02 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Both work as they should. Can you hover the mouse over it and attach a screenshot?
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > Can you hover the mouse over it and attach a screenshot? Sorry, I removed the icon some time back, so I can't provide a screenshot. I've contacted the other use that reported the same bug (but with a different icon), but they also removed the extra icon. Sorry, but I can't help at the moment.
Created attachment 166053 [details] Panel showing dup
Comment on attachment 166053 [details] Panel showing dup The 2nd and 3rd position on the panel both are Dolphins and exhibit the same behavior and tooltips. There's some variance as to exactly what of my other icons will show up, but dolphin seems to have a higher change than anything else. My panel is set to autohide, and when first opened it showed two dolphins one in position two and one perhaps position five, then it spontaneously jumped to position 2 and 3 as shown in the screenshot.
That seems like it could be a separate issue from the one that was originally reported here.
