Description Matej Mrenica 2024-02-01 21:23:20 UTC
SUMMARY
Or maybe it's just a brighter and normal mode? I am running krita with 10bit display mode. Otherwise no changes to settings.
Comment 1 Halla Rempt 2024-02-07 09:34:41 UTC
It sounds more like a system problem... 10 bit mode is not HDR, though. Please attach the contents of help->system information for bug reports to the report and tell us exactly what hardware you have and how you have enabled "10 bit display mode". Also please tell us what colorspace and channel depth your image uses.

This issue only happens when the Night light like windows feature is enabled, and one should probably disable that anyway when doing any color sensitive work.
Comment 4 Dmitry Kazakov 2024-02-26 13:11:55 UTC
Hi, Matej!

Could you clarify, do you have both modes enabled, "HDR" and "Night Light" modes at the same time?

When enabling both modes here I cannot reproduce the issue. Though the average screen brightness gets lower when I draw with extremely bright values. That is now Display HDR 400 technology works. But the dimming happens almost right when I paint, not after two seconds.

Yes both modes enabled. It looks like the window is flickering between the more red color and the normal color.
