I use Blue recorder Flatpak to record on Wayland. It opens the screenshare portal and I try "rectangle area" and it simply does nothing.

This is one, but here the entire screenshare portal window doesnt react. On the other I could press a button but after clicking "apply" the window disappeared and pressing "Esc" made it appear again. "Select window to record" worked normally.

When I give this a try, The "Select an Area" button in the app is disabled. Can you record a video (maybe with your phone) that shows you reproducing the issue?

the button is also greyed out for me, strange. Before it was not. Closing this for now, it may be an issue with blue recorder and not the portal.
