SUMMARY On wayland on a convertible laptop, switching repeatedly between tablet mode and desktop mode, after a few times returning to desktop mode the touchpad won't get enabled anymore, even tough the osd message "touchpad enabled" still appears. Conneting a mouse still works, the pointer will reappera and can be moved, but still only with the mouse and not the touchpad.
Is this on X11? I don't recall seeing that OSD on Wayland, even when I use my convertible in a way that disables the touchpad and keyboard.

Have been having this issue today a few times. When it does happen, I go back into tablet mode and then back to desktop the touchpad responds normally for around 5 seconds and then gets disabled again, best way to fix seems to be a restart. I'm using an Asus Zenbook Flip (UP3404V), going into tablet mode by flipping the keyboard behind the display. Using KDE 6.1.4 on Wayland, latest KDE Neon User Edition
