Created attachment 165357 [details] Application launcher sometimes gets stuck SUMMARY The Application Launcher sometimes freezes when opening. Sometimes it's only noticeable because the accent colour at the bottom of the launcher doesn't show, and sometimes the window gets frozen in a faded out white state. Moving the mouse over the window appears to fix it. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the application launcher several times (the bug doesn't happen every time) OBSERVED RESULT Periodically the colour accent at the bottom of the launcher doesn't appear or appears slowly, periodically the window appears white and frozen. EXPECTED RESULT The launcher doesn't freeze, and the colour accent appears instantly. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 39 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.249.0 Qt Version: 6.6.0 Kernel Version: 6.6.13-200.fc39.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION In the attached video, I am moving my mouse while the launcher is frozen, but the recording seems to be frozen when the launcher is.
Interesting. It is just this widget, or do any others on your panel (e.g. the Digital Clock or System Tray) also exhibit the same problem?

Hmm, I wonder if this has any relationship to Bug 435600.
I am getting this as well. It happens with both the "Application Launcher" and "Application Menu". Maybe bug 475318 is related. Other widgets in the dock work fine though.
