Description hardy.public 2024-01-30 10:01:08 UTC
SUMMARY
After 'Find duplicates' completes, the 'Remove Duplicates' button is enabled. If the 'Image' tab is now clicked followed by an immediate return to the 'Duplicates' tab, the 'Remove Duplicates' button is disabled. The expectation is that it remains enabled because nothing about the images or database has been modified.

Can you reproduce the problem with current 8.3.0 pre-release Windows installer available here :

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

Yes, problem is in the 8.3.0 pre-release version too.

This is intentional to avoid accidental deletion later.

Fair enough but in that case the Duplicates results should also be deleted if they are now longer actionable.
