SUMMARY If my phone tries to pair with my Windows machine, I get a notification saying "Pairing request from <phone> Key: <key>..." (where <phone> is the correct name of my phone, and <key> is the first 8 chars of the key). I want to check the full key before accepting the pairing, so I click the "View key" action in the notification. However, this does nothing: KDE Connect is not opened after clicking, and if KDE Connect was already open I am still not shown the key. In fact, if I manually browse to the pairing screen in the application where I can accept or reject, I cannot find the key either. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start KDE Connect on Windows and Android; both connected to the same network. 2. From Android, initiate pairing with the Windows device. 3. On the Windows device, in the received notification, click "View key". OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens. EXPECTED RESULT KDE Connect is opened with the option to reject/accept the connection, shown together with the key. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 11 (Build 22631) KDE Frameworks Version: 5.109.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I installed using the "offline installer" option, not the Windows Store option.
