Set the panels to your preferred configuration (I like to just have Places and Information). 2. Minimize Dolphin to Icons-Only Task Manager. 3. Click the icon to maximize Dolphin. 4. Repeat 2 and 3 (sometimes it takes only one try, but it varies). OBSERVED RESULT The panels (for me) switch to Folders, Places, Terminal, and Information. EXPECTED RESULT The only panels that should stay open are Folders and Information. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.92.0 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.92.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.248.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Closing Dolphin (as in hitting the x to kill the program) and then opening it again counts as a single min/max repeat, and may or may not cause the panels to change.
Cannot reproduce on KDE Neon Testing with Plasma 5.92.90, Frameworks 5.249.0, Qt 6.6.1
Can somewhat replicate this. Whenever I minimize dolphin (from top window controls or icons only taskmanager) the places panel hides itself. System - KDE Plasma 5.93.0, KDE Frameworks Version 5.249.0 QT version 6.7.0 on Arch Linux X11
For me, I only have to minimize and restore dolphin once and all panels are hidden. Happens with any combination of panels. It only happens on X11, not on wayland! kde plasma: 6.0.80 kde frameworks: 6.0.0 qt version: 6.6.2 kernel version: 6.6.13-gentoo 64 bit X11 (head is at 16790e05bec0ff3c555e02f9fa225df124b977c8 at the time of this report, but I think it's been happening ever since I installed plasma 6) processor: ryzen 9 7950X3D gpu: nvidia rtx 3080 (using nvidia drivers)
