STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  meta-esc to open system monitor
2. Select Process or Applications tab
3. click any column header other than the currently sorted column and note that sort does not change.

OBSERVED RESULT
Columns are not sorted as expected

EXPECTED RESULT
Expect column sort to toggle for the respective selected column.

I noticed that too, on the first (initial page trying to sort processes by CPU usage.
And I see that clicking on the other headers doesn't work also.
Just the memory column header works.

It seems like it works after clicking on and then resizing the header section

Indeed, resizing the affected headers and then clicking on them works, but others that were working before are freezing.
So from what I see each header needs to be resized a bit before it's click for the click to work. It doesn't matter if they are resized form their left or right edges.
