ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Probably some Kubuntu specific issue.
On Debian 12 (with the testing repository) it works without problems.
On KDE Neon (with Plasma 6 RC1) it also works, but there is a weird highlight happening at the top of the systray when the power profile slider is moved.

Unfortunately in general when this happens it's a firmware issue. See the discussion in https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/hadess/power-profiles-daemon/-/issues/106.

As I mentioned in my closed duplicate I also ran in to this bug. This worked correctly on Arch before moving to Kubuntu, so I strongly doubt it is a firmware bug. Where can I report this to the distro maintainers?
