STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. rotate the screen to be vertical
2. record it

OBSERVED RESULT
video is upside down

EXPECTED RESULT
video is correctly oriented

Cannot reproduce on my laptop (not tablet) with spectacle recording (capture full screen) on a portrait mode display. Maybe this is an issue specific to tablets.

wayland, plasma 6 master.

Possibly related: Bug 479083. But you aren't using an NVIDIA GPU. Still, would be good to see if the commit that fixed that issue fixes it for you as well, since it was merged only quite recently.

The issue still persists, but that commit is probably not yet included in the arch kde unstable repo. I will test again when I have the RC2 on my tablet.

Alright, I just upgraded, but now can't even test it due to new bugs. I will have to file more reports and get them fixed before I can come back to this one.

Somehow I managed to not get the bug (two times) that was preventing me from testing this and this one seems to indeed be fixed. Very nice.
