Version: 1.2 (using KDE 3.0.3) Installed from: Gentoo Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-rmap14a An odd behaviour occurs when entering text in the first row of a table, the table expands to cover lots of pages. At one time, the number of pages reached over 500. This is easy to reproduce. Create a new empty document. Insert a table inline with 37 rows, 4 columns. Click at very top of document to create the table. I used the default text, in case it makes a difference. In the first row, first column enter the text 'angle', in the next column enter the text '100 family', in the next '110 family', and the next '210 family' (without qutoes of course :-). In case your wondering I was typing up a prac report for Bragg Diffraction of microwaves, lots of data to enter. By the end of entering text in the 2nd column the number of pages has already reached 7, and continues to climb as text is entered in the other columns.
I am the original bug reporter for this bug report. This bug appears to be the same as bug 46343 unfortunately I didn't see when I posted originally. Perhaps this bug should be deleted since bug 46343 has been confirmed. I have some further observations below. I can confirm that this bug exists in Kword 1.2.90 (Koffice 3.1 beta). I tested for the bug by: 1. using standard text, paragraph setting etc on a blank page. 2. insert a table. choose 40 rows, 2 columns, inline mode 3. click at the very top of the page to insert the table. (page position doesn't seem to matter though) After doing this Kword continously add pages, and never stops adding a page (i wanted several minutes hoping it would stop).
