More info
Error accessing the file system. sshfs terminated with error code 1
Comment 2 Nicolas Fella 2024-01-29 21:23:50 UTC
Works fine for me. That said "sshfs terminated with error code 1" is familiar to me, doesn't seem related to Qt6/Plasma 6
Comment 3 Gilberto Ferreira 2024-02-10 12:48:21 UTC
Still having issues with KDEConnect about sshfs returning error 1.
Tested with 2 diferent phones, both with kdeconnecta app up to date.
Here is a little video about it:

Not sure, but possibly kio-fuse needs to be installed?

A always do that by the first thing!
Comment 6 Gilberto Ferreira 2024-03-01 20:56:22 UTC
And works fine with KaOS!

kio-fuse is not involved here

This issue seems to happens in KDE Neon.
I tried in KAoS and kdeconnect works perfectly.

Still waiting for this fix.
For my concern that is the last one, in KDE Neon Plasma 6
Comment 10 Gilberto Ferreira 2024-04-04 11:18:29 UTC
I am still having trouble with this.
Tried Fedora, KaOS and Manjaro, in which kdeconnect works fine with sshfs to access the phone files using Dolphin.
Comment 11 Rena Kunisaki 2024-04-25 16:21:22 UTC
I just ran into the same problem, with the message "failed to start sshfs". It turned out I just didn't have sshfs installed. I thought it meant it was trying to start sshfs on the phone, so I didn't think to check it on the PC. I came to suggest that the error message be clearer about which device the problem occurred on.
Comment 12 Gilberto Ferreira 2024-04-25 19:07:53 UTC
Well, for me works fine with:
- Manjaro
- KaOS
- Fedora
- EndeavourOS - which I am using right now.

Just with KDE Neon it's doesn't works, despite I have sshfs installed already!
So for now, I give up KDE Neon.
