If I choose "save session" from the launcher and reboot I get an empty/normal shell. Saving the session does not seem to work.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install KDE Neon (stable)
2. Set Desktop Session -> Session Restore --> When session was manually saved
3. Reboot
4. run a bunch of programs, like Firefox, Terminator, Brave, spotify, signal, etc.
5. Login, start launcher, choose "save session"
6. Reboot
7. Login
