Please make sure you have atleast 3 virtual desktops. Is qt6-quick3d installed?

On arch linux kde-unstable, it is listed as an optional dependency of kdeplasma-addons: qt6-quick3d: desktop cube effect [installed]
Installing qt6-quick3d solved the issue for me too. Thanks!
