SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. On Plasma Wayland with NVIDIA drivers, install and open The Elders Scrolls Online 2. put the muse over it (it will start to behave weirdly) 3. Voilá! Your mouse, keyboard...all your system is frozen, can't even CTRTL + ALT F4 to try to restart the system; OBSERVED RESULT If you take more then 2-3 seconds with the mouse on the launcher your system will freeze and the only recourse is to turn it off (!!!) EXPECTED RESULT To be able to at least kill the window with not forceful shutdown; SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Plasma 6 RC (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION On Neon with Beta 2 it would take more time to start acting weird, on RC it happens faster and completely locks the system (I waited 10 min). For example, on Gnome 45, it also acts weird, also freezes, but just for a 10-15 seconds. Happen on my system only on Wayland. Lenovo Legion 5i with a RTX 2060 6GB on the 545.29.06 NVIDIA drivers.
We could not reproduce this on non Nvidia. >or example, on Gnome 45, it also acts weird, also freezes, but just for a 10-15 seconds. Happen on my system only on Wayland. This is a sign of something wrong lower in the stack. Could you get output from `journalctl -b -1 -r` (the log from the last boot, latest first) and share any relevant looking output. Can you keep trying with newer nvidia drivers. I don't think there is anything actionable our side just yet, even if the full behaviour is subtly different.

I remembered that with RPMFusion driver I used to have some weird behaviour in the past. As nowadays I use Negativo17's on my daily driver and unfortunately there is no repo for Fedora 40 yet, I decided to remove and reinstall it. First tests, it did not cause that problem again (had other problem thou that I created other bug report). I'll test today again to be sure that it.
Created attachment 165075 [details] Not freeze, mouse gets slower After reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers it did not freeze (awesome)!. But, if the video captured is able to show it, when the mouse is over the launcher the cursor becomes a bit slower and even leaving the launcher and moving over the rest of the Steam window, it still slow until a close the launcher.
