SUMMARY
Don't spin up drives unless I click directly on an item (like tab) that uses that drive.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  open multiple tabs, some with and HDD that is usually spun down
2.  get back to dolphin later or use some other app that has open in dolphin command
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
I need to wait for the HDD to spin up

EXPECTED RESULT
don't spin HDD if not really needed

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I think it may be caused also by recent files / locations.
