i hope that you add the option to disable temporal dithering from the settings in the plasma

What is temporal dithering? What problem are you seeing that prompted you to suggest this as a potential solution to it?

Thanks for the info. But if there's already a KWin script that does what you want, then that seems fine. :) Not every 3rd-party extension needs to be upstreamed. In this case, the problem seems fairly unusual so I think the 3rd-party approach is fine. Anyway, if we were to upstream it, we'd want to do something automatic so that you did'nt have to take any manual action; it wouldn't be some kind of on/off switch you have to know exists, know what it does, and go hunting around for.
