Description casiofx83gt 2024-01-09 12:50:15 UTC
SUMMARY
***
The first time I close the laptop lid, it goes to sleep. After waking, all subsequent lid closes do nothing. The screen stays on. /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state shows closed, but the sleep never occurs.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Close laptop lid initially, so the laptop sleeps
2. Wake up laptop again.
3. Close lid again

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
Laptop should sleep

Comment 1 casiofx83gt 2024-01-10 13:24:45 UTC
Turns out this only happens when mem_sleep_default=deep boot parameter is set.

Thanks for the bug report, and I'm sorry nobody looked at it yet.

Can you mention what that parameter does, and why you're using it?

Also, is this still happening in Plasma 6.3.5 or later?
