Created attachment 164774 [details] "Screens" tab in default dialog size SUMMARY Running Plasma 6 beta 2 on Neon unstable, using Wayland. The previous implementation in Plasma 5 was much better, so this is a regression. When starting a new screen sharing (in my testing I use Google Meet), the Screen Sharing dialog that opens is too small and doesn't fit all the options and is also not scrollable - so the only way to get to items that are overflowing the dialog, is to manually (and slowly) resize the dialog. Also, the items in the dialog are very wide and - for some reason - ordered in two columns, so the second column is always horizontally cut off. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have more than 1 screen connected, and/or more than 4 windows open. 2. Open an application that has a screen sharing feature and start screen sharing. OBSERVED RESULT The dialog that opens is very difficult to work with - if the item you need is not one of the first 4 items on the left column (i.e. items 1, 3, 5 or 7) then they are either not visible or cut off and require resizing the window to see them. EXPECTED RESULT The items available should either all be constrained within the initial size of the dialog, or - if not possible - the list should be scrollable in one direction only (preferably vertical - because, you know, mouse wheels). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.91.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.248.0 Qt Version: 6.6.1 Kernel Version: 6.2.0-39-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: offscreen Processors: 20 × 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700H Memory: 31.0 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION There is also some kind of issue with the names of the displays, but that may warrant a different bug report.
