SUMMARY In Plasma 5, adding a Photo Frame widget to a panel created a “photo” icon that on click showed a popup with the actual slideshow. Plasma 6 attempts to embed the full representation into the panel. While showing a thumbnail of the image in the panel might be a nice addition, I would like it to still open the popup on click to show a bigger image. This also causes the widget to show a “Configure…” button upon addition that overlaps with widgets to the right from it, e.g. the system tray. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a Photo Frame widget to the panel. 2. Observe it show the “Configure…” button inline. 3. Configure the widget with images to show. 4. Observe the images being shrunk to fit the panel. Clicking the currently displayed image opens the configured photo viewer, even if the corresponding option is disabled in widget's settings.
