What I did: I created a GNOME-style layout with the Panel fitting its content and only holding the application icons. Thus I removed the app menu, workspace switchers, clock etc. When I then left the edit mode, the popups "miniprogram 'clock' was removed!" But those dialogs appeared at the top left, instead of something like the bottom right? Reproduce: - remove miniprograms from the default plasma panel - also set the panel to fit content, floating, centered and autohide unclear what of these settings causes the dialogs to appear randomly in the air. --- Software --- OS: Fedora Linux Rawhide.20240102.n.0 (Kinoite Prerelease) KDE Plasma: 5.91.0 KDE Frameworks: 5.113.0 Qt: 5.15.11 Kernel: 6.7.0-0.rc8.61.fc40.x86_64 Compositor: wayland
Notifications like this one are designed to appear, by default, near the Notifications widget on the panel. At the time when this happened, was the notifications widget on your panel in the top-left corner of the screen?
sorry. No for those tests I always used the default layout. Notifications should be at bottom right.
Thanks. Can you attach a screen recording that shows the issue happening?
I cant reproduce it with the panel at the top, works very whell there.
