SUMMARY *** Very often I do not see any photo nor video I have stored in the data base after application starts. The status bar says "no active process". All photos are stored on a NAS accessable via network. The database is on a local path in the users home directory. After waiting for a long period it seems to check for new entries. If there is no process in the status bar, it will not scan for new images. Do they describe in more detail, are thumbnails displayed or is the view empty? What did they select in the left sidebar? If the problem occurs, create a log from the terminal as described here on macOS: https://www.digikam.org/contribute/ Maik
