Since KDE Plasma 6, the "systemdBoot=true" option in the ".config/startkderc" file no longer seems to have any effect on the way KDE Plasma is started. I tried an internet search to see if this had been posted but couldn't find anything. And there is nothing about this in the associated wiki page (https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/wikis/Plasma-and-the-systemd-boot). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set systemdBoot to true with "kwriteconfig6 --file startkderc --group General --key systemdBoot true" 2. Relogin 3. "systemctl --user status" does not show any plasma services SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.247.0 Qt Version: 6.6.1
