STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open Dolphin 2. right-click on a folder and choose "Properties" 3. OBSERVED RESULT Properties window unnecessarily opens maximized. Cannot reproduce with a file. EXPECTED RESULT Properties window never opens maximized SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Plasma 6 beta 2 on Arch Linux.

Also can't reproduce. I suspect there are window rules at play here. If it's 100% reproducible, can you attach a screen recording? Also, is this happening on X11 or Wayland, or both?
Created attachment 164826 [details] screen recording I can reproduce on Wayland and X11, on both Arch Linux running Plasma 6 RC1 and neon unstable. Please watch the attached video recorded on neon unstable when using a newly created user account without any window rule.

I can reproduce when the dolphin main window is maximized, then properties of a folder gets maximized.

When Dolphin is maximized the Properties Window also open maximized. But in my case I also noticed that with the last update it seems te minimum size of the properties window is also larger than before?
